Realtor, ABR, CRS, GRII have been selling and listing real estate for 32 years. I worked for a rental company (Professional Property Management) prior to getting my license. I grew up near Ames and graduated from North Polk High School (Go Comets). I started out my real estate career at Ames Real Estate Center with interest rates at 17 and 18 percent. I am surprised that I didn't get discouraged and quit. I went to RE/MAX a few years later and was there for 23 years. I have won many awards for sales over the years including the Hall of Fame Award, Top 10 in the Region award, President's Club, Executive Club, and Platinum Club several times. Last year Shari Timms (my daughter) and I decided to make a change and went to CENTURY 21 Signature Real Estate. Our main reason for choosing CENTURY 21 Signature Real State was that we liked the owner (Joe Schafbuch). It is a very harmoniours office and we all like each other. I specialize in residential real estate, but have sold many investment and commercial properties over the years. I have worked with so many wonderful clients over the years and consider them my friends.InterestsI enjoy being with my family. I am also a raving fan of the Iowa State Men's and Women's Basketball programs and attend all the home games (Go Cyclones!!).
